Sunday was our first Celebration Sunday in Higher Ground. Congratulations to 42 kindergarten through
5th graders that completed 7 “bricks” of their house. Great job! Keep up the good work and continue
to work at home memorizing God’s Word and completing the Biblical Learning Goals designed for each
grade level. Our next Celebration Sunday will be February 20th with 14 “bricks” needing to be completed
at that time. Parents, please continue to encourage and help your child grow in his/her knowledge of
the Bible and in his relationship with God. Your child’s binder is designed as a tool for you to use at
home to help with your responsibility and privilege of being the primary faith influencer of your child.

Please plan to attend Harvest’s Children’s Christmas Program on Sunday, December 19th from 6:00-7:00
PM at Fisher Junior High. Children in the Pre-K class (3-5 year olds) will be singing 3 songs to start the
program, and kindergarten through 5th graders will then be presenting the Christmas story in song and
drama. The kids have been practicing during their worship time on Sundays in Higher Ground and are
looking forward to celebrating Christ’s birth with their family and friends in this way.
