Regardless of how you feel about winter in Indiana (where almost everyone wishes the weather was more or less of something than it actually is), Harvest Students has decided to take advantage of this season of snow by hitting the slopes for Winter Retreat 2010. The cold month of February is the perfect time to get away and add some fuel to the fire of our faith by getting into God’s Word together with a little change of scenery to set the stage. At Harvest, where God’s Word, worship, and the discipleship of believers are key elements of our DNA, student ministry is no different. Sure, the skiing, snowboarding, and tubing are all perks of the trip, but the real purpose is to continue growing in our faith together through study and engaging time with other followers of Christ! What better way to do it than in the midst of His beautiful creation, learning the skills of maneuvering down the slopes as we learn key skills to walking in our faith!

We want all 6th through 12th graders to join us for this fun and engaging time, as we take a short trip down to Lawrenceburg, IN to Perfect North Slopes on Saturday, February 13th. We’ll spend the day there, stay overnight, and return late morning on Sunday, February 14th. Expect a fun day in the snow, excellent teaching from God’s Word, and tons of time with friends and our awesome leaders. Registration deadline for the trip is January 25th. If your student days have passed, don’t feel left out! – We need everyone to partner with us through prayer, that God would ignite a mighty fire among these students, that lives would continue to be transformed, and that his light would shine brightly in this young generation at Harvest!
