What are the services like?
We hope that you will join us for our Sunday worship service to see for yourself what we're all about. Through contemporary music and practical messages, we present the truths of the Bible in a format that is easy to understand and apply to your life.
On your visit to Harvest, we want you to experience the warmth of our church family as soon as you arrive. Our greeters are available each Sunday to welcome you and answer any questions you have about the church or where to go in the building. If you have children (birth through fifth grade) we invite you to check them in at Higher Ground, our children's ministry.
Before the worship service, we invite you to stop and have a cup of coffee at the refreshment table and get to know some of our staff and volunteer team.
As you enter the Worship Center, our ushers will welcome you, provide a bulletin for you and help guide you to an open seat. We invite you to engage in Christ-centered worship and an application-filled study of God's Word with us.
If you have questions after the service, we invite you to connect with members of our Ministry Staff and Elders who are available each Sunday after the service at the front of the Worship Center. Any of these leaders will be glad to answer your questions and provide resources to help you get to know Harvest and progress in your personal walk with Jesus Christ.
What should I wear?
While a variety of dress is typical for a weekend service at Harvest, most who attend wear "business casual" attire. Feel free to be casual and comfortable as you will often see people dressed as casual as shorts and jeans and some as formal as sport coats and dresses.
Our desire as a church is to focus more on the heart than on the outward appearance. However, we do ask that people not wear clothing that would draw attention to themselves that might distract someone from worshipping Christ and learning from God's Word.
What is available for my children?
Children Birth through Fifth Grade:
At Harvest, it is a privilege and a calling to help your child worship God, learn from the Bible and experience fellowship with others. We take this calling seriously and work hard to have a fun and secure environment for our children. If you are going to be visiting with us this Sunday, please stop at the Information Table at the cafeteria entrance and find out more about Higher Ground. The greeters there will guide you to the children's ministry check-in counter, which opens 15 prior to the start of the worship service.
RockSolid
is our ministry for children birth through pre-kindergarten.
BedRock
is our ministry for kindergarten through third grade students.
LifeRock
is our ministry for fourth and fifth grade students.
Students 6th through 12th Grade:
On Sunday mornings, we encourage our youth to attend worship services with their parents. The youth meet on Wednesday evenings for "Harvest Students". This is a time of worship, teaching, hanging out and connecting in small groups that focus on living a life that glorifies God as a student. Visit the
Student Discipleship
page to learn more.
