Women’s Discipleship at Harvest Bible Chapel is focusing on what it looks like to pursue God “No Matter What”. We will launch our ministry year with our annual Ladies Fall Retreat, Sept 30-Oct 1, at Wooded Glen. During that weekend we will see that no matter what life brings - the waiting, the disappointment, the joys or the pain - we are to seek and find intimacy with Jesus. Our fall day Bible study is Beth Moore’s Stepping Up where we’ll study how to approach worship with God no matter what. Then the spring day Bible study will look at the women in the lineage of Christ showing that no matter what your background, God can and will use you! This will be an exciting study led by a variety of our Harvest women. Both of our evening women’s small groups will begin the year in the study Brave where they will dive deep into how the character of God and His Word addresses the feelings of insecurity with which women struggle. Through the year we will also have three additional events: Savor the Season which is a wonderful annual outreach dessert; Sweet Surrender ... No Matter What, a discipleship driven morning focused submitting our emotions at the throne of God; and the summer event, Beautiful ... No Matter What which will begin a summer focus on seeing our self image biblically and also taking care of ourselves in a manner that glorifies God.
