Orphan Care and Adoption

The Mission of the Orphan Care & Adoption Ministry: To fulfill the Great Commission and exemplify the Gospel by enabling and encouraging families in the care and adoption of orphans both locally and around the world.

The Vision: To make a practical impact on the lives of orphans living in the Indianapolis area and around the globe through domestic and international adoption, foster care and Safe Families ministry.

Our Goals:

1. To build a culture of adoption and care at Harvest North Indy as a reflection of the Gospel of Christ.
2. To educate and enable families along the path of adoption and orphan care by:
   • teaching the spiritual and practical principles of adoption and care.
   • connecting families who have adopted with families that are desiring to adopt for the purpose of coaching, encouragement and prayer.
   • finding and providing resources to families to further the adoption/orphan care journey.
   • committing significant financial resources for Harvest families who desire to adopt or provide ongoing care.
3. To give practical care to those in Indianapolis who are struggling and need intermittent care for their children through Safe Families of Indiana.
