The Institute

The Institute is a series of classes that will help believers grow in their understanding and knowledge of the Christian faith. Consistent with our mission to “glorify God by making disciples of all nations,” the Institute strengthens the ongoing work of discipleship at Harvest by complementing our Small Groups, individual discipleship relationships, and opportunities for leadership mentoring.

The Institute consists of five tracks that explore the depth of the Christian faith…

1. Next Steps:  This track offers follow-up classes to our Discover Harvest membership class that take you deeper into what it means to Worship, Walk, and Witness here at Harvest. Classes include Taking the NEXT STEP.. Worship, Taking the NEXT STEP... Walk, and Taking the NEXT STEP... Witness.
2. Knowing Your Bible:  This track provides you tools to help you grow in your daily reading and application of the Bible. Classes include Bible Overview, Studying Your Bible, and Biblical Decision Making.
3. Theology & History:  This track exposes believers to the history and doctrine both of our church and of Christianity throughout the ages. Classes include Biblical Theology, Systematic Theology I, Systematic Theology II, and Church History.
4. Biblical Counseling:  This track seeks to provide a biblical basis for speaking the truth to one another both informally (small groups and relationships) and formally (1:1 counseling and redemption groups).  Classes include Foundations in Biblical Counseling, Topics in Biblical Counseling, and Counseling Skills and Practice.
5. Engaging the World:  This track helps believers to learn how to share and minister the faith to those beyond the walls of Harvest Bible Chapel.  Classes include Apologetics and Worldview, Christians in the Workplace, and Missions.

Registration for 2012-2013 classes are complete.
Registration for 2013-2014 classes will begin late summer 2013. Check back soon.
