Higher Ground

Higher Ground serves to partner with parents and to support them in their role of discipling their children by proclaiming the Gospel to children while they attend church on Sundays and by providing resources that parents can use as they nurture faith at home.

Higher Ground is the children’s discipleship ministry at Harvest for children birth through fifth grade. The ministry is based on the concept of living life on the rock – Jesus (Matthew 7:24). Our time together on Sunday features age-appropriate large group worship and teaching, coupled with small group time, which is led by dedicated volunteers who help the children further explore and apply the truths of God’s Word.

Sunday Ministry

The children of Higher Ground meet each Sunday, beginning at 8:45AM. If you are planning to worship with us this Sunday and you are a first time visitor, you can save a few minutes at the check-in table by filling out the registration form ahead of time.

RockSolid: Birth through pre-kindergarten

BedRock: Kindergarten through third grade

- Weekly family devotionals sent home
- Small group discipleship
- Biblical Learning Goals (resource for parents and children)

LifeRock: Fourth and fifth grade

- Weekly student devotional sent home
- Small group discipleship
- Biblical Learning Goals (resource for parents and children)
