Ladies! Save the date for our fall retreat!  We will again be going to the beautiful retreat center at Wooded Glen.

The setting for the retreat is a secluded, quiet conference center that has nearly 600 acres of fields, woods and rivers. This will truly be a weekend set aside to deepen your  relationship with God. The space available will be somewhat limited so please reserve your spot today!


The total cost for the retreat ($125/4 people in a room; $145/2 people in a room) and can be paid at that time. If you would prefer to pay in two installments, a $50 deposit will be paid with registration and the balance will need to be paid by September 1st. If you are in need of financial assistance or if you are able to donate towards a need, please contact Laura White or Kara Newton.

The retreat will begin at dinner time on Friday the 24th and will end before dinner on Saturday the 25th.

About the Speaker

Katy Mills has a passion to serve and encourage the local church, hurting youth, and the next generation of Christian leaders. She has specialized for more than a decade working with young moms and coaching them to achieve greater success. Katy understands that leadership development, personal mission, and intentional relationship is crucial to the foundation of today’s authentic Christian woman.

In her role as Director of Development and Outreach Services at His Caring Place, a non-profit ministry that serves young women in crisis, she purposes to provide training on family life, time management, relationship resolution, and personal Bible study/spiritual calling. Her involvement in an inner city Mentor Moms program, also lead her to found a focus group called MomsLife that shows moms how to discover God’s plan for their lives.
Through her ministry of speaking and writing, Mills offers insights into issues that affect every woman. Her straightforward teaching style is full of practical application and reflective challenges. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Communications from Taylor University and furthered her professional training in Biblical Counseling and Missions. She and her husband also served as foster parents for more than 30 pregnant teenage girls and continue to reach hundreds of youth every year through abstinence training, spiritual retreats, and local mission work.

Katy resides in South Florida with her husband Aaron, and she is the mother of Kaia and Jamen. Her greatest joy is caring for her family and watching others fall in love with Jesus.
