Tech Team Requirements

The idea behind the Tech Team is to delegate specific responsibilities to capable people who will carry the load of the ministry more efficiently. Our goal is 6 fold:

1. to do an excellent job for the Lord by presenting Harvest in the best possible way
2. to utilize the technology available for the best use. Let’s work smarter, not harder
3. to provide support for the pastoral staff in hardware/software issues
4. to unburden the pastoral staff by removing tasks that are outside their job description
5. to get people engaged in working for Christ
6. to effectively use technology as a means to reach people for Christ in the fulfillment of “the great commission in the spirit of the great commandment”

Ten requirements to be considered for the Tech Team

• you must be a committed believer who supports the mission of HBCNI
• you must complete Peak Performance
• you must show consistency in attendance and participation
• you must be committed to a growing, personal walk with Christ
• you must actively be involved in a small group
• you must demonstrate a servant’s heart
• you must understand the support role of the teach team and be willing to follow our communications and chain of command
• you must have either a. experience to do the job or b. willingness and aptitude to learn the job. This will depend on the specific role you would play
• you must be willing to make the time commitment to fulfill your role
• you must have a teachable spirit
